Cool Landing Page
My cool landing page is a ready made landing page you install and simply edit the existing images and text.
To install simply unzip the LandinPage.zip and upload the folder "landing" to the root of your Joomla! directory.
Now browse to http://yoursite.com/landing/welcome.html and bring up the default landing page as on the left here.

Editing text and images
As an example I have created a landing page for one of my extensions my toolbar I have edited the text on the page and filled in the relavant URL's and hover text and also edited the 3 main images in photoshop you can see them here:As you can see on the default page there are numerus links with URL's you can edit in the file as you wish if you hover your mouse over the various parts you will see they have hover text too, you can edit this directly in the file welome.html.

Now that the text and images have been edited my landing page is complete as seen above.

When creating a link for the register button it should normally be set to:
http://yoursite.com/component/users/?view=registration
I also edited the background color in the CSS file and changed it to #333
